HOT FORGING

The hot forging production activity of steel is divided, according to the types, between the production lines: press (4,000 tons), screw press (300 tons) and power hammer (25,000 kg/m). The production range is from 4 kg to 110 kg.

HORIZONTAL UPSETTING

The upsetting activity is carried out on three horizontal upset lines (9"/2500 tons - 7.5" 2000 tons - 6"/1600 tons) with the possibility of starting bars from Ø40 to Ø150. From the partial heating of a steel bar, pressure is exerted on the end of the bar in the direction of its axis to deform it, allowing the production of long parts with a forged end. This process allows for greater variation between the initial bar diameter and the forged head diameter, allowing multiple lengths with the same die. Upsetting is used to produce many types of parts such as shafts, rods, sprockets, and more for lifting equipment, earthmoving, agriculture, and many other applications
